Woman Kills Baby With Hot Water Immediately After Delivery

There was confusion on Omohwovo Street, Iwhrekpokpo community, in the Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, after a physically challenged woman allegedly killed her own baby hours after delivery.

The accused, identified simply as Elohor, was alleged to have given birth to the baby boy on Monday in her apartment, where she stayed with her mother, without any medical aid.

The cry of the newborn baby was said to have attracted neighbours, who immediately rushed to the apartment to offer assistance to the new mother.

The mother of the physically challenged woman was said to be away when she put to bed.

Elohor, who neighbours said was a plantain chip seller in her late 20s, was alleged to have killed the baby before the following morning, and lied to neighbours that the baby’s father took him away.

The identity of the man responsible for the pregnancy had remained unknown before she put to bed on Monday.

However, neighbours, who were not satisfied with the explanation, questioned her sibling.

It was then revealed that the baby had died in the night after the mother allegedly forced hot water into his mouth before suffocating him to death.

A resident, Simon Ohwo, who took to Facebook to decry the incident, said, “After the celebration (of the baby’s birth), everyone went home, leaving Elohor and her sibling, since the mum was not around that day, hoping to check on her in the morning.

“…the neighbours came in the morning to see how she and her baby were doing, only to find out that there was no baby anywhere. They asked Elohor about the child; she claimed that the father came late in the night and took him away having noticed that the child was not breathing well.

“The neighbours could not believe the story Elohor gave and decided to interrogate her. She held on to the same story. But one of them suggested that the sibling would give a better version of what actually happened to the child.

“The sibling said late in the night when everyone was gone, Elohor boiled water and forced it on the child to kill him, but the child could not take much which ended up burning the mouth of the day-old child. When the child defied death, she took a rag and tied it around his nose and mouth, which suffocated him to death.”

Ohwo added, “When she noticed that the child was dead, she put the corpse in a sack filled with refuse and plantain peels, and then gave it to a man to dispose of early in the morning as refuse.”

Sources gathered that following the confession, neighbours searched all the surrounding dumps in the area, and the corpse of the day-old baby was found with bruises in various parts of his body.

The baby’s mouth was said to have been severely burnt.

It was gathered that the suspect was handed over to operatives of the ‘B’ Division, Ughelli, for further investigation.

The Devil In Our Midst-- A Call To End Modern Day Slavery In Sub Saharan Africa

I am not a freedom fighter of some sought, neither am i a political bigwig, a celebrity cum superstar or even a revolutionist. I am not any of these. But just because I am not any of these doesn't necessitate i turn a blind eye to the happenings around and speak against any of which violates humanity. Especially when it concerns young people.

Slave trade is considered to be the worst trade human beings have ever encountered. That is why it was abolished several decades ago by governments and institutions across the world. However this inhumane phenomenon is back. Situated at the north east of Africa Libya is becoming the turntable of the modern slave trade. How does the world get back to this?

Today, hundreds of Africans especially Nigerians are peddled in what could be described as the return of modern day slavery. Are we going to pretend like we don't know what's happening. Well, i'll leave that for you to ponder on. t’s a mass grave that we don’t need the United Nations to verify. Every day an average of 14 migrants, the vast majority from countries in sub-Saharan Africa, die crossing the Mediterranean.

Many more see their European dream turn into a nightmare long before they’re corralled on to flimsy rubber dinghies on Libya’s beaches. They’re the victims of a silent massacre in the Sahara desert – a journey more deadly than the crossing from the coast, according to the International Organisation for Migration.

Come the spring, thousands of migrants and refugees fleeing poverty and violence will die in Libya, but I doubt you’ll hear much about it. Compassion fatigue has set in. The numbers have become too big to comprehend. It’s an old story; we feel numbed by the now familiar news images of men huddled together on boats. Maybe it’s because they’re African and have been written off as “undeserving economic migrants”. These are the people some of our political leaders have in mind when they talk of swarms, plagues and marauders. The understandable focus on Syrian refugees has taken the spotlight away from the more dangerous route to Europe through the Mediterranean
Or maybe it’s because, with three rival governments presiding over anarchy in Libya, and the real power lying in the hands of armed militias, getting inside the country to tell the story is just too difficult and dangerous. One thing is becoming clear – many people have come to see this tragic situation as though it were more a problem for us than for the migrants. We have stopped caring about them. Doyle of New agency made this statement

The slave trade affects women, too. A young woman from Nigeria told me: “As a female, you can’t walk alone in the street. Even if they don’t shoot you, [if] you’re black, they’ll just take you and sell you.” One man, also from Guinea, said that women are more expensive to buy than men.

"In one centre for women in the coastal town of Surman I met Aisha, a young Nigerian. She was bleeding to death after giving birth to her baby girl on the toilet floor. The child died three days later. Since coming home we have tried but been unable to find out what has happened to Aisha. I fear the worst.Even in the worst refugee camps in the world there is often food, medical facilities and aid workers to offer support. In the Libyan detention centres, migrants are locked up and left to rot. It’s a humanitarian disaster with barely any humanitarian organisations there to help."

Women  face shocking levels of sexual abuse. According to a United Nations official, of the migrants and asylum seekers in Libya, “almost every woman” has been sexually abused.

I basically had to scribble this online  because the social media is taking a vast turn and one of the ways  to  effectively eradicate most of the negative norms in our Society is through the social media platform.

Our roles as young people on the social media is to voice against the ills in the society and not to trend irrelevant issues. You might want to ask what is your business with slave trade but hey, you have a role to play.

Photos --Amassoma Thief Caught Trying To Navigate His Way Into A Student's Room

Could we describe this as a case of luck out of the heavens or judgement day. Well, a young thief was apprehended in the early  hours of today at Amassoma Town where  the Niger Delta University is situated.

According to a reliable source who was supposed to be the victim of the robbery, the  thief tried to get into her house through the window but met his Waterloo while getting through.

According to her , "Hmm a thief in my house I'm grateful to God for giving me the courage to hold him down help me and thank God ooo but I pity the boy sha see beating"



She further said an indigene of Amassoma  whoose identity was to be ascertained claimed that the thief was her brother's son and therefore pleaded that they should go about handling the matter with caution.

We however don't know what will become of the boy who has been subjected to serious beating and corporal punishments since the incidence occurred.

Pastor Dies While Having Sex With A Teenager In An Hotel Room.

Overwhelming surprising and ridiculous could one say. But this is more than just a story in ordinary form.

A Pentecostal pastor has reportedly died during an alleged sex romp with a 19-year-old-girl in a hotel room in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta.

Delta Police Command Spokesperson, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed on Wednesday in Asaba. He said the victim’s wife reported the incident to the police on November 19.

He said the hotel workers were alerted to the incident after the girl raised the alarm for help when she noticed the pastor was gasping for breath.

“The incident happened last Sunday evening. We learnt the pastor took the girl, who is said to be 19 years of age to the hotel room.

“While they were in the room after some few minutes, the girl reportedly raised alarm which attracted workers in the hotel, who rushed into the room to find the pastor dead.

“The wife of the pastor was called to the scene of the incident, where he met her husband stone dead.

“She subsequently reported the matter to the Police Division in Kwale,” Aniamaka said.

The police image maker said an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of death of the pastor, adding that the police had since launched an investigation into the incident.

Strange things they say will never seize to happen as the Oyo State Police Command paraded three people caught in possession of two fresh human heads and legs, as well as the alleged killer of a former member of the House of Assembly in the state.

 The three young men informed the Police that their unbridled desires to get rich quick prompted them to get the human parts for money rituals.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abiodun Odude, during the parade, said the suspects were arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Command on November 11, following a tip-off by a member of the public. Odude added that the suspects confessed to have severed the body parts from corpses at a Muslim cemetery in Isale General Area of Ogbomoso. The three arrested suspects are Alfa Kareem, 37; Bello, 22, and Adebayo Yusuf.


One of the suspects, Kareem, noted that this was his first attempt at using human parts for money rituals. The second suspect, Bello, said: “We went to Isale General at Ogbomoso to exhume the bodies at about 8p.m. On our way back, two inquisitive boys, who accosted us on the road, demanded to know where the offensive odour was from. “We tried to deceive them, but they were insistent. So we had to run. They caught Kareem before the Police arrested us at our homes.” Asked what they intended to do with the human parts, Taofeek said: “We wanted to use the parts for money rituals. If we had succeeded in taking them to our place, we would have dried and burnt them. “After burning the parts, we will grind same to powdery substance and mix some of it with soap to take our bath in the morning and to take pap at night. After we have done this, some weird creatures, who we generally call spirits, will bring the money to us— usually at night.” All of them, however, claimed it was the first time they would do such a thing. Asked how they got the knowledge of the ritual, they remained evasive in their responses.

The Kiss OF The Married Woman That Eventually Scattered ROBERT MUGABE'S KINGDOM.!!!

Now, it's difficult to piece together what is going to become of Zimbabwe after now, however history  gives us a peek at the key actors in the drama currently playing out.
Now, this is the story you dont't know.
Mugabe the deposed President of Zimbabwe, Constantine Chiwenga the Head of the Zimbabwean Military  and Mnangagwa the sacked Vice President of Zimbabwe are all friends, very good friends, they are comrades.  The three men were in their 20's when they entered the bushes and took part in the liberation struggle to free  Zimbabwe from white rule. Mugabe who was initially the Sect General of ZANU PF, became the  head of state, the other two men were equally given plum positions of power and have continued as the 3 musketeers presiding over the destiny of Zimbabwe for 37 years.

Sometime in the 90's -  Mugabe,  the first musketeer fell in love with his personal secretary who happened to be another man's wife at the time, the lady's name was Grace and she became his mistress.

While Mugabe was still married Grace had children for him. In 1996 they became man and wife after the death of Mugabe's first spouse.
But Grace was no ordinary mistress turned wife, she was not ready to take a backseat, she turned herself into Mugabe's political confidant, she used the bed and made her way to the very centre of Zimbabwean politics straining the relationship between Mugabe and his two comrades.
Mnangagwa the 2nd musketeer after many years of loyalty became Mugabe's Vice President in 2014, paving the way for his eventual hold on power should Mugabe retire, resign or die. But Grace had other ideas she wangled her way into ZANU PF's politburo and began her move to take out Mnangagwa and take power from her ailing husband.

In August 2017 Mnangagwa accused certain persons in the party of trying to poison him and made references to Grace. This didn't go down well with Mugabe, how could anyone accuse his beautiful harmless  Rose flower. What Mugabe forgot was that boys are allowed to fight but the brotherhood must stay strong and united. In a move that shocked  everyone (but didn't shock his beloved Grace) , he removed Mnangagwa from the position of Vice President, Mnangagwa not sure of what Grace will do to him fled to South Africa.
Now, in comes the 3rd musketeer Chiwenga Head of the Zimbabwaean military, a friend and brother of both Mugabe and Mnangagwa, "this is all the fault of one woman", he is probably thinking  in his mind, " we were one until this woman came. I trust Mnangagwa to takeover, I don't know this woman; by the way, where was she when we were sleeping in the bushes before the liberation".


 Chiwenga sends a warning to Mugabe advising  him to put his house in order, the first time he has ever spoken this way to his senior comrade. Thinking Mugabe will take the signal, call him, negotiate and talk things over a cup of tea. NO! Mugabe does the exact opposite, he sends his Minister of Information to tell the Army General to stay out of State matters, Mugabe then finalises plans to sack Chiwenga. The military chief  at this point knows his brother and comrade in arms  has drunk deep from the strange woman's bosom, it's not him speaking anymore,  so he rolls out his tanks early this morning. He's therefore right when he says,"this is not a coup" ; when you really look at it,  3 friends have only fallen out over the ambitions of a woman.


Latest reportś say Mnangagwa the 2nd Musketeer is on his way back from South Africa, i've just seen a report he's been installed interim President.  The 1st Musketter Mugabe is under house arrest. The 3rd Musketter is in the saddle promising calm and quick elections.

The 3 men have held Zimbabwe under lock and key for 37yrs, this is nothing but a change of baton. Zimbabwe needs a real revolution out of  the hands of the veterans of the liberation struggle. In the 21st century Zimbabwe is the frozen out Animal Farm in George Orwells celebrated work.
Meanwhile the woman Grace, who started the whole katakata,  I hear has fled the country leaving her beloved  husband who sacrificed everything to face an uncertain fate.


16 million Zimbabweans could not remove Mugabe  but a woman did.

Horrible !!! Man Beats Wife To Stupor For Not Putting Pepper In His Food

A commercial keke driver has been remanded in prison for allegedly beating his wife to stupor for not putting pepper in his food.    

     According to reports, a street hawker, had failed to put pepper in her husband's food , stating that the harsh economic situation does not warrant them spending unnecessarily.

 This was said to have angered her husband who pounced on her and beat her to stupor. The incident reportedly happened at 26 kwa street, in Abaki region of accra, where the couple reside.

 It was learnt that the young man in question found it hard to provide the basic amenities of life for his family, forcing his wife to resort to street hawking to augment his little income.

 It was gathered that the husband didn't find the food tasty and In anger, he chased her and held her on the street, forcing her to return to their apartment but she vigorously resisted him. He then descended on her and brutally battered her, throwing her into a gutter in the process, seriously bruised and badly injured
