Hepatitis B, it causes, symptoms, and Treatment

Hepatitis B is an inflation of the liver ,it could cause scarring or marking of the liver, liver failure, and cancer of the liver. It is can be very fatal when left unattended. It relieving to know that in most cases of the disease do not last a long time. Your body develops resistance towards it within a few months, and you are immune to it for the rest of your lives.
But some people don't form resistance to the infection. If you have hepatitis B for six months, then you are a carrier even when you don't get symptoms, which means you can transfer the disease to someone else through
-unprotected sex/anal sex

-contact with your blood or an open sour
-sharing needles or syringes with you



Mode of transmission 
Hepatitis B can be gotten through piercing and tattooing of the body. A mother can pass the virus to her offspring during child birth. Through sharing of personal belongings like tooth brushes,razors,or
Clippers.
Hepatitis B cannot be gotten through kissing, hugging, sneezing, or coughing.it also cannot be spread by sharing of utensils.


Symptoms of Hepatitis B

Symptoms of hepatitis B could be different in individuals. But symptoms that you should be on the lookout for are 
-headache
-appetite loss 
-stomach pain 
-fatigue
-vomiting
-pain in the upper region
-stooling
-yellowing of the skin and eyes

Some major precautions a Hepatitis B patient should adhere to 

Avoiding strenuous or stressful activities,
Don't overwork yourself 
Eat properly cooked and nourished meal
It is necessary to eat right (because for most people loss of appetite increases as the day goes by)
It is essential you take plenty of water to hydrate your body,most especially if you vomit more often. 

Treatment of Hepatitis B 

Treatment on hepatitis B depends on how active the virus is and whether you are at risk for liver damages,cancer of the liver or cirrhosis. 

It also depends if you are recently infected with the virus,Or you have chronic infection,
If you have not gotten a hepatitis B vaccine and you think you may have been exposed to the virus, you should get a shot of hepatitis B immuglobulin (HBIG) and the first of three shots of the hepatitis B vaccine, it is important to receive this treatment within a week after a needle stick and within two weeks after several contact that may have exposed you to the virus.
The earlier you receive treatment after exposure the better the treatment work
